Week One Complete

Time Sheets are due by 5:00 today. Make sure you have your Sponsor sign.

Weekly Reflections should be posted by 5:00 on Sunday, as that should give you time to reflect and have your post proofread by your Mentor. While the daily blogs are free form, the Weekly Reflection should be final quality. Keep in mind the aspects that need to be addressed in your Self Evaluation.

If you are missing anything, most documents are available as downloads from the Proctor website (A to Z, Senior Project - right navigation bar).

Have a great weekend.

Day Two

The Senior Project Committee encourages you to follow along with a couple of highly motivated seniors as they make strides toward goals they proposed for their unique Senior Projects. Each student should have at least one entry, and many will have published a second one by now. Click on a name to the right for a front row view into their day to day activities.

Senior Projects Start Today

Today is the first day of formal participation on Senior Projects. I saw Dayton Slye grabbing some breakfast before her first day in the Guidance Department at Kearsarge Elementary School, and Eliza Perry is off to the lumber store to pick up some fir for her traditional lacrosse stick. Be sure to check out their blogs to get details about their first impressions. Dayton and Eliza are among the 31 students in the senior class completing a Senior Project.

Blog Training

Between the hours of 7 pm and 9 pm, 30 of the 33 students who have contracted to participate on Senior Project took the first few steps in creating their blogs.  Reality is sinking in and they are anxious to begin their adventures. During the week,  students with be sending publishing test blogs, fiddling with fonts, viewing templates, and working out the bugs.

On Friday, senior project students will be acquiring the signatures for their official sign out sheet. Teachers are asked to provide an estimated grade, as final grades are not due until later that evening. Once the sign out sheets are in, the Senior Project Committee will met to review grades. Assuming grades are commensurate with previously earned grades, the senior will be cleared for take off.

Senior Projects officially begin on Monday, May 10th!
